THAI PEANUT BEAN BEEF

THAI PEANUT BEAN BEEF

Forget the takeout and make this delicious 20-minute meal that everyone will enjoy!

Jason and I have been trying to reduce the amount of food we order out, so I’ve tried to make many takeout dishes at home. Whether it’s Chinese Orange Chicken or Honey Walnut Shrimp, this 20-minute Thai peanut beef is my favorite.

This dish is ready in 20 minutes, with a 10-minute preparation or even less. This is a simple sauce of peanut butter that you mix into the flank steak. That’s it! It’s delicious! It is absolutely delicious! The sweet, subtle peanut sauce goes so well with the crispy beef slices.

Next time you order takeout, I urge you to try this recipe – it is so easy, quick, and sure to become a family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut Butter
  • Soy sauce, one tablespoon
  • One teaspoon of brown sugar
  • Use two teaspoons of Sriracha or more to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • The flank steak is 1 1/2 pounds, thinly sliced.
  • To taste, add Kosher Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper
  • One thinly sliced green onion
  • Two tablespoons of peanuts, chopped

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, Sriracha, brown sugar, and two tablespoons of water. Set aside.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the beef to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until it is browned. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Stir in peanut mixture until well mixed, approximately 1-2 minutes.
  • Garnish with peanuts and green onions if you wish.
