What’s in a Margarita
The traditional Margarita cocktail is made with tequila and lime juice. It also contains a citrus liqueur, such as Cointreau or triple sec. It is usually shaken, then poured over ice and served in a glass rimmed with salt. YUM. Learn more about the origins of margaritas by clicking here.
How to make a Strawberry Margarita
What about a Strawberry Margarita? This version is made with FRESH strawberries to give a big strawberry flavor. We add maple syrup to bring out the natural sweetness. Lime juice brings out the tartness and classic margarita vibes. Ice is added for texture. It’s time to blend!
You can adjust the sweetness if you wish. Too sweet? More lime juice! Too tart? Too tart? Pour into a glass and enjoy it straight up or over ice. Salted rims and garnishes of lime and strawberries make this drink extra festive!
